After my daily walk, I made hubby and I each a quick grilled cheese sandwich.

I roasted and cooked Curly kale and Dino kale freshly harvested from the garden in olive oil and pink salt.




I used two types of sourdough bread, plain and jalapeno, vegan cheese and the sautéed kale.




These were a treat. I intend to use the cherry tomatoes from the garden to make tomato soup one day with these. Because it feels like such a childhood tv commercial memory 😂


I’ve never made tomato soup or had it before, so it will be fun to make it and enjoy it next week.



Next time, my plan is to chop the kale. Non-vegans can enjoy cheese pulls, while my husband and I will enjoy the large, hot kale stems slide from the sandwich pull. Lol


We enjoyed the sandwiches but did have a few moments where we fought for our lives with the hot kale sliding out of the sandwich lol. I’ll make them again soon and make sure to chop the kale. Have a great weekend.
