I’m taking a short break after my daily walk to romanticize my Saturday chores, when all I really want to do is play in my garden and write.

This quote by Maya Angelou serves as a reminder that tidying will enhance my writing and meditation sessions this week.

“I make writing as much a part of my life as I do eating or listening to music. If I wait for the right mood, I just sit, waiting. And I don’t wait for inspiration; I make sure everything is clean and orderly. For me, there’s a difference between inspiration and motivation. The first gets you to the desk, but the second keeps you there. So, everything in its place is what helps me stay focused.”
